Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 Joint Annual Meeting of the Archaeological Institute of America (AIA) and the Society for Classical Studies (SCS) will be a virtual event.
American Oriental Society Annual Meeting
Because of the continuing world-wide health crisis (COVID19), the AOS Board of Directors has decided that the 231st Annual Meeting, to have been convened in Los Angeles, will be held virtually via Zoom.
ARCE Annual Meeting
ARCE convenes its annual three-day meeting at which scholars are invited to present their research findings. Each of the days is divided into concurrent speaker sessions, during which scholars and expedition leaders present their work and discuss the latest developments in their projects.
67th Rencontre Assyriologique Internationale
The Rencontre Assyriologique Internationale (RAI) is the annual Assyriological Conference. RAI is open to all those who are interested in Assyriology. Over a period of five days, the Rencontre offers lectures on a key theme, this year “Eating and Drinking in the Ancient Near East.”
ASOR Annual Meeting
ASOR’s 2021 Annual Meeting will have both in-person and virtual components. The in-person component will take place November 17–20 at the Hilton Chicago in downtown Chicago. The virtual component will take place online December 9–12.
AAR/SBL Annual Meeting
